Urban Environment Task 3 of 3

Urban Environment (Environmental Art) is a umbrella term (which is used to cover a number of items that fall under a single common category.) Is used in a variety of different contexts it can be used to link to art describing the natural world.

Joel Meyerowitz is a street photographer which is pretty much the same as Urban Environment and he also is a portrait and landscape photographer. Joel Meyerowits began photographing in color in 1962 and was an early advocate (which is a type of professional person in several different legal systems.) of the use of color during a time when there was powerful resistance to the idea of color photography as serious art. In the early 1970s he taught the first color course at the Cooper Union in New York City where a lot of today's color photographers studied with him.
